When I was looking to get back into the workplace in 2009 after having our two children, I was looking for a job that would allow me the flexibility to earn money utilising the skills that I had developed over a 12 year career in administration, all the while wanting to be available to our children. Of course, these jobs are very hard to find.
After talking with various people, I realised that there are alot of businesses and tradespeople that don't have a need for a permanent administrator, but rather someone who can assist when there is a backlog or heavy workload or with the one-off assignment.
This is when I started looking into the Virtual Assistant industry and found that the industry is well suited to, but not exclusive to, secretaries and administrators who have adopted Internet technologies to operate businesses at home.
So thats why I started Workin 4U. I hope that I can work 4 u!
